After muchos soul searching I have come to the conclusion that speed painting and experimenting with various styles ARE NOT going to be good enough to land me a job as a concept artist... so whilst all this dicking around i feel i need to push ahead for 5-6 polished pieces, including all stages before hand. To sell myself I think I would probably need the following:

1 interior1 exterior
1 male character
1 female character
1 vehicle
1 action shot.

This is of course a minimum that I will start my portfolio with.Task 1:To find the relevant source material.


Think I will have to re-read Stalingrad by Anthony Beevor which is an awesome historical story. And is ripe for a new look/ redesign.
